Future In Mind has been providing integrated care and therapy in our small homes in Staffordshire since 2000. Specialising in obtaining positive outcomes for children with attachment disorders, who have suffered the affects of trauma we are leaders in focussed therapeutic interventions with young people.

We offer an excellent in house training programme which can lead enthusiastic staff to externally verified qualifications in working with attachment disorders and trauma and abuse in residential settings, at minimum Level 3 & 4. All staff undertake training in therapeutic interventions as part of their induction to the company as well as techniques in Neuro Linguistic Programming to assist in their interactions with young people. In addition unqualified staff are supported in obtaining Level 4 Children & Young People Families Practitioner. Essential for all posts are:  

• The ability to work as an effective team member.  

• Proven communication skills both orally and written.  

• The ability to remain calm in crisis situations.  

• Knowledge of confidentiality issues.  

• An understanding of professional boundaries.  

 

Applicants for Senior Posts must have obtained a minimum of NVQ3 Diploma in caring for children and young people and have sufficient experience working in a residential setting with young people. Successful applicants must be prepared to work shifts (including sleepovers in the home) and to work weekends and bank holidays as part of their rota.  

 

All applicants will be subject to compulsory screening checks, this will include employment references and an enhanced DBS check.  

 

Therapeutic Support Worker - £21,000 - £23,000 depending on experience. 

Bank Staff: £11 per hour + £40 Sleep In payment.
